Midge Cell
Midge-Cell, named after Midge Sinnaeve, is an asbtract style meant for creating interesting cubic wireframe patterns.
Tips and Tricks
Examples are applied to a cube, subdivided by 3 levels.
Increasing Resolution
By increasing the 'octree depth' value in the Remesh modifier, you can increase the resolution of the wireframe representation of the mesh shape.
Wire Thickness
By increasing the thickness value in the Wireframe modifier, you can increase the width of the framing.
Beveling
By adding a bevel modifier after the Midge-Cell stack and disabling the Clamp Overlap value, you can get some interesting beveled edge styles around the corners of the wire framing.
