The Community Project Fund

How it Works

  • Every month, the Patreon fund will pay for hours spent working on free projects for the wider community at a rate of £50 per hour.

  • Overtime is when time spent working on projects exceeds the Patreon fund.

  • Development milestones achieved during overtime (such as project updates or new releases) will not be made public until the overtime is paid for.

  • At the beginning of every month (usually around the 5th day), the Patreon fund is subtracted from the overtime, bringing any milestones closer to a public release.

  • In the meantime, Patrons on the $5 tier and above will have early access to those free projects.

  • If there is no overtime, then the Patreon fund will bank those work hours, which will carry over to the next month.

Please note, this system only applies to community projects, not paid products.
The fund amount used in calculations is the ‘actual’ amount post-currency-conversion and post-transfer.
