Scientific Visualization can range from 3D representations of biological processes, paleontological reconstruction and geological mapping, to bespoke 3D data graphing, diagrammatic style design and educational aid production.

Both realistic and stylized visualizations are valid and doable.
An example of realistic work may be the processing of scan data for volumetric rendering, whereas stylized work may be 3D diagrams of complex processes to accompany educational material.

Typical clients may be researchers, educators, scientists and all manner of individuals with an interest in visualizing science.
